Veneers, crowns, quiet upgrades.
Some patients want their smile to look the same, just less worn. Others want a real change. We're set up for both — and we'll tell you which one you actually need.
Why people come
Most of our cosmetic work is restorative — replacing what time, grinding, or old fillings have worn down. A new crown that matches the next-door tooth is invisible done right.
When patients do want a visible change — closing a gap, evening up a chip, brightening — we plan with a wax-up first. You see the result on a model before we touch enamel.
From idea to finished tooth.
Cosmetic and restorative work is usually two appointments. Here's what each one looks like.
-
01
Plan
Photos, shade match, and a digital mock-up of what the finished smile will look like. Free to walk away.
~ 45 minutes -
02
Prep
Conservative enamel reduction (or none, for some veneers), digital impressions, and a temporary tooth.
60–90 minutes -
03
Lab time
A US-based ceramicist crafts the final restoration. We don't use overseas mass-labs — the matching is too subtle.
1–2 weeks -
04
Seat
Try-in, color check, bond it in. Bite tested before you walk out.
~ 45 minutes
Done in-house, not outsourced.
Each option below is available in-house — quoted in writing, no surprises.
Porcelain veneers
Thin ceramic shells — for chips, color, shape, or gap closures.
Crowns & onlays
When a tooth needs a full cap — usually after a large filling or a root canal.
Composite bonding
Hand-sculpted resin, same-day. Good for minor chips and shape tweaks.
Whitening
Take-home trays, custom-made — 4–6 shades brighter in two weeks.
Cosmetic and Restorative FAQs.
Don't see your question? Send us a note — we'll answer plainly.
- Do veneers ruin my real teeth?
- Done conservatively, no. We remove a fraction of a millimeter of enamel — sometimes none — and the veneer protects what's underneath. They do need eventual replacement (15–20 years), like all dental work.
- How long does whitening last?
- Take-home trays give a brighter baseline that fades gently over a year or two. We re-issue a small refill kit annually for patients who want to maintain a specific shade.
- Will my crowns look fake?
- Modern ceramics let light through the same way enamel does. The mismatch you see in old-school crowns is metal-backed PFM crowns — we use porcelain-only ceramics that match the neighbors.
- What's the cost?
- Veneers run $1,400–$2,200 per tooth, crowns $1,200–$1,800, whitening kits ~$350. Itemized in writing before we start.
