What this covers
This policy describes how SunGrove Dental ("we," "us") handles information you share with us through this website, by phone, by email, or by filling out forms online. Patient medical records and treatment information are governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, available at the front desk and on request.

Why we collect it
- To respond to appointment requests, calls, and messages
- To verify insurance and prepare for visits
- To send appointment confirmations and reminders
- To improve the website (which pages help, which don't)
- Occasionally, to send dental-health emails — only with your explicit opt-in
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or trade it with other providers.
Cookies & analytics
We use minimal cookies for site functionality (remembering you've dismissed a banner, for example). We use Google Analytics in aggregate-only mode to understand site traffic patterns — no individual visitor is tracked across sessions in a way we can identify.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings without losing functionality of the site.
How we protect it
Information you submit through the website is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Patient records inside the office are stored in HIPAA-compliant practice-management software with audit logging and role-based access. Paper forms are scanned, then shredded.
Sharing with third parties
We share information only when:
- You direct us to (e.g., requesting records be sent to another dentist)
- Required for treatment (lab work, imaging referrals)
- Required by law (court order, public-health reporting)
- With our HIPAA-bound vendors (billing software, e-fax service) who have signed business-associate agreements
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what information we have about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information (subject to legal record-retention requirements for medical records)
- Stop sending you marketing emails (one-click unsubscribe on every email we send)

Children
This website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 except as part of pediatric dental care, which is handled through standard medical records under HIPAA.
Updates to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the home page for at least 30 days.
